Travel Cardiac PCU RN - $1,941 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing position in Richmond, Virginia. This is a 13-week contract position working night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients with central lines, telemetry, and cardiac drips such as Cardizem and amiodarone
• Administer medications, including narcotics, and manage patient care plans
• Perform assessments and vital signs every four hours, along with rhythm interpretation
• Assist with procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and thoracotomy
• Work with a team of RNs and PCTs to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to read cardiac monitors and give narcotics

Qualifications

• Stepdown unit experience preferred
• Cardiac knowledge preferred
