About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team, specializing in cardiac care. This role involves working with a patient population that includes cardiac observation, post-cardiac catheterization lab patients, and cardioversions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a 4:1 patient ratio in a telemetry environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the cardiac specialty.
- Monitor patient conditions and update care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' heart activity.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in step-down or ICU settings
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
