About the role
A Hospital in Iowa is looking for an experienced MedSurg RN for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, and IA license (or compact).
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or a compact state.
- At least 2 years of recent, relevant clinical experience.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
