Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Echo Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract in the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services unit of a Level III trauma center, requiring CCI or RDCS certification and experience with adult and pediatric echocardiography.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in cardiac echocardiography
- Active CCI or RDCS certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the AHA
- Adult echocardiography experience required
- Pediatric echocardiography experience strongly preferred
- Licenses required if applicable
About the Role
Facility services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer care, nephrology, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, and extensive imaging. Patient population spans all age groups, including adult and pediatric patients. Primary procedures involve cardiac echocardiography with cardiac diagnoses and treatments. Uses GE Vivid E95 ultrasound equipment. Charting performed in Cerner EHR. Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. On-call requirement every 5th week, with weekend call every 5th weekend. No float requirements.
