Travel Echocardiography Technologist - $2,746 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a hospital-based Echo Lab in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard echocardiograms, stress echos, transesophageal echos, contrast echos, and bubble studies
• Work in a hospital-based Echo Lab (cardiovascular ultrasound unit)
• Work with an adult patient population
• Work a schedule of 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• Occasionally work weekends and on-call coverage

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Echo Tech experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure required — license must be in hand prior to consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)

Qualifications

• Reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Skills

• Knowledge of ultrasound equipment (Philips Ultrasound and GE Clinical Works)
• Experience with EMR systems (Sunrise (Allscripts))

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
