Travel Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist to perform diagnostic examinations during invasive and noninvasive cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures at the request of an Interventional Cardiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic examinations during invasive and noninvasive cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures
• Collect and record subjective data to assist in accurate diagnosis of anatomical and physiological conditions
• Assist during diagnostic procedures
• Record vital patient data
• Ensure protocol adherence
• Maintain certification standards

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular or Allied Health programs
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• At least 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty
• Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of cardiovascular procedures
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
