Travel Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a hospital setting. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate within a healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and equipment for procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasty, and stent placements.
• Assisting physicians by passing tools, operating imaging and monitoring equipment, and maintaining sterile fields.
• Operating and troubleshooting specialized imaging and hemodynamic systems.
• Monitoring patient safety, managing inventory, and adhering to infection control and radiation safety protocols.
• Documenting procedures and assisting with post-procedure care.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and motor skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
