Details
Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting in Jersey City, NJ
Procedures include Left and Right Heart Catheterization (diagnostic and interventional), Pericardiocentesis, CardioMEMS, Impella and IABP insertion, TAVR, MitraClip, PFO closure, AICD and PPM placement, EP studies, ablation, and LAAC
Neuro procedures include cerebral and carotid angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy
Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required; 2 years preferred
- Active ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two current professional references required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Candidates who have worked for RWJBH (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Holiday coverage is required for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements; all RTO requests should be communicated upfront
- Housing note: Due to the World Cup games in NJ, suggested housing areas include Staten Island, Montclair, West Orange, and Belleville
