About the role
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in the specialty of Cardiac Cath Laboratory Services is needed in a short-term acute care setting. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures including PCI, structural heart interventions such as TAVR, electrophysiology studies, and other specialized cardiac procedures. The position is based at a healthcare facility dedicated to adult and geriatric patient care.

Responsibilities
- Assist with all diagnostic procedures, PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rota, impella, IABP, CTO)
- Structural heart procedures (TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, Watchman)
- Electrophysiology (EPS, atrial fibrillation/flutter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants)
- Various other specialized cardiac interventions
- Maintain sterile fields, monitor arrhythmias, perform cardiac mapping, and operate specialized equipment such as left and right heart catheters, rotablator atherectomy devices, and defibrillators
- Conduct accurate monitoring, baseline measurements, and rhythm interpretation
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS, WA RT or CIS license
- Education/Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Laboratory setting
- Ability to work on-call one day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
- Prior travel experience required
- References covering at least 1 year of work within the last 3 years
- Must provide responses to specific questions about prior experience at Providence facilities and two references

Schedule
Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
