About the Role
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technician in California. This role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures within a cardiac intervention radiology room with structural heart capabilities. The technician will assist with various diagnostic and interventional procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, catheterizations, embolizations, and vascular interventions
- Managing sterile technique and equipment setup
- Monitoring patient hemodynamics
- Assisting with specialized interventional techniques
Required Qualifications
- California state licensure (must have California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license in hand)
- ACLS certification
- ARRT Radiologic (ARRT R) certification
- Fluoroscopy Permit
- CA CRRT license
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
- Two references covering one year within the last three years are required
- Response to the question regarding prior experience at a Providence facility, including location and dates worked, must be included
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with interventional radiology
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures
- Experience managing ports and central lines
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 or 0730-1600
- Three call shifts in a two-week period
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
