Job Details
Certifications, Education, and Experience:
- Active Illinois license or confirmation of application initiation
- ARRT certification
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist-ARRT
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting
Schedule: 5 days per week, shifts starting at 0700 or 0830, with a shift duration of 9 hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during coronary and neurovascular high-risk interventions, including STEMI procedures
- Willingness to learn circulating/monitoring in neuro interventional procedures during call
Additional Information:
- Unit operates 24/7 cardiologist staffing, with a supervisor or charge available during operating hours
- Expectation to participate in call, including 4 weekends in a 13-week period, with a 30-minute response time
- Floating to electrophysiology (EP) or interventional radiology (IR) units may be required
- Scrubs are provided, with a unit-specific orientation of 5 shifts
