About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Somerset, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure sterile technique during all procedures.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
- Ability to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility supervisor.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
Skills
- Proficient in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
