Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $3,126 per week

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of interventional cardiology experience for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab within a 90-bed acute care hospital in southeastern Arizona
• Adult patient population with a primary focus on coronary artery disease (CAD)
• Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiology, interventional radiology (IR) cases, stress testing, TEE, and tilt testing
• IR procedures include vascular embolization, port placements, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tubes
• Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
• GE equipment used throughout the lab
• Cerner EMR
• Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Every other weekend required; on-call weekend hours required
• Call requirements exceed 12 days
• Float to IR on an occasional basis

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• IR experience required
• RRT or RCIS certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Licenses required if applicable

Qualifications

• Live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible

Skills

• Interpret EKGs
• Assist with invasive procedures
• Operate equipment such as manifolds, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
• Use Cerner EMR
