About the Role

The position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist specializing in cardiovascular procedures in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves providing advanced cardiac and interventional radiology care in a high-acuity environment, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Schedule

  • Start Date: 09/21/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 10-hour days
  • Availability for on-call coverage as required
  • Must be able to work during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced cardiac and interventional radiology care
  • Support diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
  • Perform accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac ablation, and stent placement
  • Operate Philips X-Ray System
  • Float within scope to interventional radiology or electrophysiology departments as needed

Requirements

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS
  • Valid state license (or pending license with an expected processing time of 10-12 weeks)
  • Two years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology setting
  • Experience with thrombectomy devices, atherectomy devices, and temporary LVAD support (preferred)
  • Proficiency with community hospital settings and charting systems such as Epic (preferred)
  • Certified in EP, IR, vascular, and neuro procedures (preferred)
  • Candidates outside 50 miles of the facility are preferred
  • References covering at least one year are required

Additional Information

  • Limited to submitting only to one approved region
  • Travel compliance includes a maximum assignment duration of one year, with a minimum six-month break before returning

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
