About the Role
The position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist specializing in cardiovascular procedures in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves providing advanced cardiac and interventional radiology care in a high-acuity environment, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.
Schedule
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10-hour days
- Availability for on-call coverage as required
- Must be able to work during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cardiac and interventional radiology care
- Support diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
- Perform accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac ablation, and stent placement
- Operate Philips X-Ray System
- Float within scope to interventional radiology or electrophysiology departments as needed
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS
- Valid state license (or pending license with an expected processing time of 10-12 weeks)
- Two years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology setting
- Experience with thrombectomy devices, atherectomy devices, and temporary LVAD support (preferred)
- Proficiency with community hospital settings and charting systems such as Epic (preferred)
- Certified in EP, IR, vascular, and neuro procedures (preferred)
- Candidates outside 50 miles of the facility are preferred
- References covering at least one year are required

- Limited to submitting only to one approved region
- Travel compliance includes a maximum assignment duration of one year, with a minimum six-month break before returning

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
