About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure care
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Kentucky
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology
- Current CPR certification
