About the role
Cure Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any changes in condition to the physician.
- Prepare and administer medications and fluids as directed by the physician.
- Document all procedures and patient information accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut license and AHA BLS and ACLS required.
- Additional certifications related to this specialty preferred.
- Primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility address.
- 2 years of recent experience in Cath Lab Tech.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized training program in Cath Lab Technology.
Skills
- Proficient in operating medical equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
