About the role
Secure Nursing Service LLC is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Monitor patient vitals and record data accurately using the EPIC charting system.
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of medical equipment.
- Document all procedures and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCIT
- Trauma Level 1 Certification
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using the EPIC charting system.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
