The role involves supporting cardiovascular procedures within an acute care setting, with a focus on maintaining high-quality patient care and adhering to unit-specific protocols. The position includes a comprehensive orientation and requires working days with optional call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support in cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC/RHC/PCI/Peripheral/PM/ICD
• Assist in stress lab
• Provide patient care throughout interventions
• Adhere to unit-specific cancellation policy (up to 4 shifts may be canceled per 13‑week assignment)
• Wear provided scrubs and conform to department dress code
• Respond to call within 30 minutes
• Work weekends and holidays on a negotiable basis

Requirements

• Valid license for submission
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT - CV), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization procedures

Qualifications

• Experience handling STEMI cases independently
• Experience assisting in stress labs
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system

Schedule

• 38 hours per week
• Shift: Days, 4x10‑hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Thursday
• Potential cases on Monday and Friday starting at 7:00 AM
