About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Brownsville, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available and in working condition.
- Prep patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures.
- Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab.
- Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
- Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience.
- ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
- State specific licensing when required.
- BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
Qualifications
- Cardiac Catheterization Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad).
Skills
- Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Benefits
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
