About the role

The larger hospital in Charleston, South Carolina, is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and is paid on a per diem basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the cath lab
• Document patient information accurately

Requirements

• ARRT certification
• CPR certification
• Current registration as a technologist in the state of South Carolina
• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac cath lab technology
• Current registration as a technologist in the state of South Carolina

Skills

• Proficient in operating cardiac cath lab equipment
• Strong attention to detail
