Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $2,606 per week

About the role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 11-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical records (EMR).

Requirements

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience in operating scrub and x-ray beds.
• Knowledge of EMR systems such as MedHost.
• Ability to work flexible hours including rotating shifts and weekends.
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac cath lab technology.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer operations and EMR systems.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Shifts are 8 hours, days, with rotating call requirements and no weekend requirements.
