About the role
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves supporting cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining clinical accuracy within a busy cardiac care environment.
Responsibilities
- Support cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ensure patient safety and maintain clinical accuracy
- Float to the Main Operating Room if Hearts procedures are slow
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
- NBSTSA certification
- BLS certification
- 2+ years of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Credentials such as CBC, Tspot/QuantiFERON Gold test results within 90 days of start
Qualifications
- Required: 2+ years of experience in CVOR as a CST and at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Preferred: Experience supporting cardiac catheterization procedures in an acute care setting
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts (6:15 AM to 2:45 PM)
- Weekdays with on-call responsibilities
- 8-10 call days per month (3 PM to 7 AM on weekdays, 7 AM to 7 AM on weekends)
- Approximately 3-4 weekend days and 5-6 weekdays per month
- 4 hours of orientation training
