Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN - $2,809 per week

About the role

The role involves working as an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN) in the Cardiac Cath Lab at a hospital in Rochester, New York.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures and ensure the readiness of equipment and instrumentation.
• Monitor read-outs and recordings during procedures and assist with data interpretation.
• Assist physicians in pacing implementation and installation of permanent cardiac devices.
• Carefully coordinate with the Charge Nurse and vendors to ensure timely preparations for scheduled procedures.
• Maintain patient-focused care, supporting anesthesia and documenting procedures.
• Aid in fluid management for ablation catheters and provide assistance during ablations.
• Utilize Epic for documentation of procedures.

Requirements

• Nursing License (New York only).
• 2 years of relevant experience in electrophysiology or cardiac nursing.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only).
• Proficiency in moderate sedation.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The start date is August 3, 2026, and the duration is 13 weeks.
