About the role
The Cardiac Care Unit RN will manage patients requiring ventilator support and IV drips, perform assessments and develop care plans, monitor patients for changes in condition, and provide education to patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients requiring ventilator support and IV drips.
- Perform assessments and develop care plans for cardiac patients.
- Maintain vigilance and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding cardiac health and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- 2+ years of nursing experience, specifically in cardiac care.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with ventilator management and IV medication drips.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
