About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, starting on 11/23/2026. The role involves providing technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team and ensuring quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab (CCL)
• Assist in performing various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs
• Operate ancillary equipment and prepare necessary inventory and medications during procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines
• Maintain accurate and legible patient records
• Promote a safe work environment and adhere to national patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in a critical care setting and be able to function under the direction of cardiologists/radiologists during procedures.
