Travel Breast Sonographer - Weekly Pay

About the Role

We are seeking a Breast Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in an Allied Health Professional capacity. This role involves operating ultrasound equipment, capturing accurate images for physician interpretation, and providing high-quality support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures and biopsies.
• Educate patients on procedures and address their questions or concerns.
• Identify abnormalities and ensure high-quality imaging results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Document findings using systems like PACS.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Breast Sonographer.
• ARDMS certification (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Any required state licenses.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand and move easily for extended periods.
• Additional certifications may be required depending on the assignment.

Schedule

This is a full-time, 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, primarily during day shifts.
