Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in acute or long-term mental healthcare
• Licensure: LVN/LPN or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)
• CPI/TEAM Certification
• BLS (AHA or ARC)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to behavioral health patients
• Use de-escalation techniques and less restrictive interventions
• Support nursing staff in patient monitoring and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team
