Travel Assistant Director of Nursing, Utilization Management - $2,635 per week

About the role

Care Team Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for patients under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to nursing management.
• Oversee the implementation of care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance clinical outcomes.
• Ensure effective communication between nursing staff and other departments within the facility.

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in the discipline of Nursing Manager/Director.
• Experience in managing nursing staff and overseeing daily operations.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop nursing staff.
• Knowledge of nursing management practices and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current certification in Nursing Management or equivalent.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
