About the role
Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN Assistant Director of Nursing for a 8-week assignment in Fork Union, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Manage nursing staff schedules and resources
- Ensure quality assurance and risk management protocols are followed
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Participate in facility meetings and committees
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Qualifications
- Passport required for international assignments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
