Travel Acute Care Physical Therapist - $2,169 per week

About the role

Travel Nurses, Inc. is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, at an acute care hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in need
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Louisiana
• At least one year of clinical experience in acute care settings
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using medical terminology and equipment

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
