About the role
Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Critical Care Trauma APP to provide in-patient, critical care support throughout the hospital in El Paso, TX.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-patient, critical care support throughout the hospital
- Work 15-12 hour shifts per month (7a-7p with no call component outside the required 12 hours)
- Must be board certified by the AGACNP or equivalent or NCCPA certified
- Must hold current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS certifications
- Must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Must have valid DEA registration
- AHA BLS required within one year of employment
- Must become ATLS certified within one year of employment
Requirements
- No more than 5 years of recent surgical critical care trauma experience
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- No Family Nurse Practitioners
- Must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Must have valid DEA registration
Qualifications
- Must hold current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS certifications

- AHA BLS required within one year of employment
- Must become ATLS certified within one year of employment
