Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Provider

About the role

Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Critical Care Trauma APP to provide in-patient, critical care support throughout the hospital in El Paso, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient, critical care support throughout the hospital
• Work 15-12 hour shifts per month (7a-7p with no call component outside the required 12 hours)
• Must be board certified by the AGACNP or equivalent or NCCPA certified
• Must hold current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS certifications
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Must have valid DEA registration
• AHA BLS required within one year of employment
• Must become ATLS certified within one year of employment

Requirements

• No more than 5 years of recent surgical critical care trauma experience
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• No Family Nurse Practitioners
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Must have valid DEA registration

Qualifications

• Must hold current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS certifications

• AHA BLS required within one year of employment
• Must become ATLS certified within one year of employment
