Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator

About the Role

Lead data-driven injury prevention initiatives within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. Collaborate with trauma services, emergency teams, and public health organizations to reduce preventable injuries and support trauma designation standards through program development and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trauma trends to identify key areas for intervention.
• Design and implement evidence-based community and in-hospital prevention programs.
• Deliver engaging education to staff, patients, and community partners.
• Collaborate with trauma services, emergency teams, and public health organizations to reduce preventable injuries.
• Support trauma designation standards through program development and advocacy.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret trauma data.
• Experience in developing and implementing prevention programs.
• Excellent communication and educational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse healthcare and community stakeholders.
• Knowledge of trauma care standards and public health principles.
