Trattoria Dishwasher (Eldorado Scioto Downs)

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, glassware and utensils according to proper industry standards within specified time lines.
• Alert manager or Chef on duty of any equipment failures or needed maintenance immediately.
• Perform duties in various working environments such as deep freezers and steam cleaning equipment.
• Use equipment that uses water, steam, and heat for safe maintaining of food contact surfaces.
• Document completion utilizing both opening and closing checklists.
• Execute Family Style Service at all times with guest and team members.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write.
• Physically able to repeatedly lift, bend, reach, stoop, climb, and carry items for extended amounts of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to continuously lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Able to endure heat and moist conditions with reasonable accommodation.
• Able to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
• May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• At least 18 years old.
• Able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.
• Able to pass a background investigation.
• Subject to pre-employment drug screening.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
  • Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.
  • Maintain equilibrium for an extended period while ascending and descending stairs.
  • Able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods.
  • Able to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
