TRASH TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Location: MercyOne Genesis West - 1401 West Central Park Avenue, Davenport, IA 52804

About the role

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Qualifications

No experience necessary. Willing to train!

Schedule

Full time. Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am; Saturday and Sunday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am; including rotation weekends.

Pay

Fixed pay rate: $16.00 per hour.
