Transporter - Tuscaloosa

Responsibilities

• Transporting fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations
• Navigating written directions to deliver vehicles to appropriate destinations safely and courteously
• Ensuring vehicles are delivered in a safe and courteous manner
• Following all rules of the road when driving
• Riding with or following another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
• Communicating via cellular phone daily
• May be asked to clean vehicles
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years
• No more than one excessive speeding violation (26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on driving record within the last three years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
• Living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location
