Hourly Wage Estimate

The typical wage range for this position is $14.25 – $17.10 per hour. Candidates are often hired below the midpoint of the range, with actual pay influenced by specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.

Job Summary

As a Transporter – Radiology at Reston Hospital Center, you will transport patients to and from the Radiology Department, explain procedures and preparations to patients, maintain and clean stretchers, wheelchairs, and transport devices, and perform processor start‑up and shut‑down procedures, including cleaning, visual inspection, and quality‑control checks.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred.
