Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is an award-winning, high-quality, acute-care hospital that serves the people of Lakewood Ranch and surrounding areas. It offers a variety of services including emergency services, general and robotic surgery, maternity care, breast health, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, stroke, sleep medicine, urology, and wound care. Responsibilities

• Assist in patient transport and other direct patient care duties such as patient comfort, pre-screening of patients for procedures, IV starts, lab draws, EKG’s and clerical duties as approved and within the scope of their certification / licensure.
• Maintain professional and cooperative interactions with all hospital departments providing overall excellent patient and customer services.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous hospital and/or clinical background required.
• BLS Certified.
• National EMT License or CMA/CNA preferred.
• Florida EMT License preferred.
