About the Role

Provides safe and timely transport of patients and visitors to destinations as requested via the HEV system or by telephone. Upholds service standards and promotes patient satisfaction through the use of AIDET and customer-friendly interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and visitors with getting in and out of wheelchairs, ensuring their safety.
• Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, and wagons.
• Receive HEV requests via iPhone and document patient details (name, birthdate), location, destination, and transport timeframe on individual logs.
• Respond promptly to requests to minimize patient wait times.

Requirements

• Good customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to push up to 500 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Schedule

1st shift, weekends required.
