Transporter (Patient Escort)-Cancer Center Support Services

About the role

Transports patients within the Cancer Center as needed for oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current CPR certification in compliance with department policy.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent;
• Some hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• The Transporter must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
