Transporter (Part Time) - Transport 6013

About the role

The Transporter will safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the Medical Center under the direction of the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service or authorized designee.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from various departments within the hospital
• Ensure patient safety during transportation
• Follow hospital policies and procedures related to patient transport
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other staff members
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized transport area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in patient care or transportation preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
