Responsibilities
- Provides safe and timely transport of patients/visitors to destinations as requested via HEV system or by telephone requests.
- Upholds Self Standards and promotes patient satisfaction through the use of AIDET and being customer friendly.
- Transporters are responsible for the safety of patients and must be able to assist patients and visitors as needed when getting in and out of wheelchairs.
- Transports patients via various types of wheelchairs, stretchers, beds and wagons.
