About the role
As our Patient Transporter, you will provide essential assistance and transportation for patients and related items across our campus, ensuring a highly customer-sensitive and seamless experience.
Responsibilities
- Promptly and safely transport inpatients and outpatients to and from various hospital areas
- Meticulously confirm patient identification, greet and assist in transferring patients
- Make conscious observations of patient condition during transport, reporting any issues to appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and report any malfunctioning equipment
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and exceptional customer service for all individuals within our facility
- Be attentive, observant, and capable of performing duties efficiently while upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism
- Complete work with accuracy and thoroughness
- Efficiently utilize time in accomplishing work
- Live organizational and departmental service standards
- Complete tasks assigned and follow up as needed
- Meet attendance standards; be punctual; work when needed
- Display sound judgment; work with minimal supervision
Requirements
- High School Graduate or High School GED, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days

$15.00 - $18.45 /hour
