About the role

Non-licensed member of the health team whose main responsibility is to transport and discharge patients to their appropriate destinations. Other functions include equipment maintenance and performance of basic life support (BLS) in an emergency situation. Demonstrates the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent GED
• Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (essential); Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (nonessential)
• Experience: Hospital‑related experience (nonessential)
