More About Our Team: Our Transport team plays an important role in supporting patient care and hospital operations by safely and efficiently transporting patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility. Transporters work closely with clinical and support teams to help ensure patients arrive safely and promptly at their designated locations while providing a positive and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to designated locations as requested.
• Safely transports patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors, and other medical equipment.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfers to and from wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or departments.
• Assists staff with the removal of deceased patients from units and transportation to the morgue.
• Greets patients and visitors and provides information and directions as needed.
• Works collaboratively with clinical and support staff to provide timely and efficient transportation services.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
