About the role

Supply materials, as required, to the Packing Room and transport finished product from the freezer line to a pallet.

Responsibilities

• Supply necessary materials, such as boxes, labels, bags, etc. to the Packing Room, to support daily production operations.
• Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating pallet jack.
• Handle part boxes of product to ensure they are put in proper location in freezer.
• Pull product from freezer to be worked into the line operation.
• Know freezer locations and proper storage locations for product.
• Stack skids.
• Assist in making boxes and operating the skid wrapper.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Enter pallet tickets and other information into the computer as required.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present.
• Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

Requirements

• Display positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist.
• Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
• Job requires frequent bending, lifting and twisting throughout the work shift.
• Will be required to lift and stack product at and above shoulder level.

Pay

$22.31/hour
