Transportation Van Drivers

Summary of Responsibilities

Drives Van to transport students over specified routes to local or distant points as directed by a schedule, and the Route Manager.

Summary of Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least age 21
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical with a drug and alcohol screening
• Pass IDOT physical and complete written exam at DMV for a class B endorsement
• Valid IL License with a clean record
• Satisfactorily complete training necessary for bus/van evacuation, first aid, CPR certification and blood borne pathogens
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to sit or stand for long durations
