About the role

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the transportation services within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all transportation activities including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of transportation equipment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to transportation services.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, transportation management).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation management or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transportation industry standards and best practices.
• Experience with fleet management systems and software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills
