Transportation Supervisor
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end transportation operations, including route planning, load planning, shipment scheduling, pickup execution, and carrier coordination to ensure seamless freight movement.
Manage daily transportation activities to support on-time pickups and deliveries while meeting customer service and operational requirements.
Oversee carrier performance, transportation planning activities, Bill of Lading (BOL) creation, and transportation documentation accuracy.
Utilize Manhattan Active WMS, transportation routing systems, customer portals, and reporting tools to execute transportation plans and monitor performance.
Partner closely with Operations, Production Planning, Customer Service, and customers to ensure shipment readiness and timely order fulfillment.
Monitor transportation metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, efficiency, and cost performance.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, customer requirements, and company safety and operational standards.
Proactively communicate transportation exceptions, delays, and risks to internal and external stakeholders while driving timely resolution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required.
- Experience in transportation and fleet management, preferred.
Skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Benefits
- National salary range: $62,500 - $70,000.
- California salary range: $70,304 - $82,000.
- Washington salary range: $80,169 - $82,000.

Pay
The national salary range for this position is $62,500 - $70,000. For roles within California, the range is $70,304 - $82,000, and for roles in Washington, the range is $80,169 - $82,000.
