Transportation Specialist

About the role

Join Amazon's Network Engineering & Scheduling Technology (NEST) team to own and drive accurate load scheduling for a rapidly expanding business segment. You'll work on designing, developing, and improving transportation systems.

Responsibilities

• Pull data from multiple databases (Excel, Access, SQL, etc.) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Develop and/or understand performance metrics to drive business results.
• Quickly assess business impacts of trends and make informed decisions based on available data.
• Systematically escalate issues or data discrepancies to relevant teams and ensure timely resolution.
• Meet critical business needs within various time constraints, measure activities, and identify variances to goals.
• Create narratives outlining weekly findings and present them in review forums.

Requirements

• 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in English speaking, writing, and reading.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and perform tasks requiring pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Experience with advanced SQL, Python, and Tableau is preferred.

$21.00 - $29.00 USD hourly
