Transportation Service Line Manager (Full-Time)

About the role
As a Service Line Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of MBP’s services in Western Virginia, managing road and bridge projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for business development, proposal creation, contracting, and assisting with recruiting. You’ll collaborate with other leaders in the company to ensure the service line runs efficiently and meets MBP’s high standards. You'll also manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts while identifying the tools and processes needed to keep operations running smoothly. Additionally, you’ll support corporate initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of construction management services in Western Virginia
- Manage road and bridge projects from start to finish
- Lead business development, proposal creation, and contracting
- Assist with recruiting and team leadership
- Collaborate with company leaders to ensure efficient service line operations
- Manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Identify tools and processes to improve operations
- Support corporate initiatives and contribute to business success
Requirements
- B.S. in an industry-related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia or ability to obtain within six months
- Extensive construction management experience, particularly with VDOT and/or local contracts
- Experience managing construction engineering and inspection projects for roads and bridges
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams
- Expertise in project management, budgeting, leadership, and business development
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $173,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on work location, qualifications, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
